3. Mobile App Permissions

Our mobile application requires certain device permissions to function properly:

Bluetooth

Bluetooth access is required to discover and connect to Insta360 cameras. We use Bluetooth to:

  • Scan for nearby Insta360 cameras
  • Establish initial connection with your camera
  • Retrieve camera information and WiFi credentials for direct connection

Local Network / WiFi

Local network access is required to communicate with Insta360 cameras over WiFi. We use this permission to:

  • Connect directly to your Insta360 camera's WiFi network
  • Transfer high-resolution 360° images from the camera to your device
  • Control camera functions such as capturing photos

Camera and Photo Library

We request access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to capture panoramas directly from your device or select existing images for upload to your projects.

4. Data Hosting and Storage

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure:

Database

Account information, project metadata, and application data are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase, which uses AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

File Storage

Panorama images, floor plans, and other files are stored on Cloudflare R2, an S3-compatible cloud storage service. Files are stored in secure, encrypted storage with access controlled through authenticated URLs.

Data Location

Our infrastructure is distributed across data centers in Europe and the United States to ensure reliability and performance.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

  • Supabase: Authentication and database services
  • Cloudflare R2: File storage and content delivery
  • Insta360 SDK: Camera integration (local communication only - no data is sent to Insta360 servers)

6. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our services
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • To store and organize your construction site documentation
  • To notify you about changes to our services
  • To provide customer support
  • To gather analytics to improve our services
